This family-run restaurant could easily be overlooked even though it is located very centrally - and what a find it was! Really. We didn't have to wait long for the attentive staff to find us a table and make us welcome. The menu offered a selection to suit all italiano cuisine and we both selected a veal dish which was cooked to perfection, portion size just right . The dessert of the day was recommended by our enthusiastric host, cream-filled pastry rolls (cannoli) served with ice-cream - delicious! The service was excellent, the staff friendly and informative, the setting rustic and comfortable, and the food first-class. The prices were average for Switzerland. If we ever return to Lugano we'll definitely visit Tango again.
