War schon auf einigen guten Hütten in den Bergen, aber die Cabane de Tortin toppt alle. Auf 3.000 Meter gelegen, direkt unterhalb der Hammerabfahrt vom Mt Fort mit Panorama über die Schweizer Alpen. Die beiden Hüttenwirte Vinciane und Aurélien zaubern eine wunderschöne Stimmung in den ohnehin schon bezaubernden Fleckchen auf der Erde. Die ganze Hütte ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet mit einer tollen Sonnenterrasse - inklusive Jacuzzi mit Holzofen. Auch das Essen ist formidable auf hohem Niveau. Perfekte Kombination aus Sport in den Bergen und Genuss!

This is the most magical hideaway, couldn't have been happier here. You need to be capable of skiing down from the Montfort cablecar or skin / snow shoe up from Gentiannes. The hot tub is a fun addition to the experience, complete with a glass of bubbles. The interiors are lovely, lots of sheepskin in the warm cabin, with cosy bedrooms. The two hosts, Aurélien and Vinciane, were wonderful and cooked the most delicious dinner imaginable starting with a fondue before the main course, washed down by their great red Sherpa wine. Aurélien is a fabulous trained chef. There are also cards, games, and books on offer for the ultimate escape!
